The Story
It started in a room this size.
Ekoya Afrika began with a living room, a borrowed piano and about twenty people who stayed far later than anyone planned. There was no stage and no sound engineer, only the understanding that everyone in the room had agreed to listen.
We have kept that agreement as the rooms have grown. Every gathering still starts with the same two questions: who needs to be heard, and how close can we seat them.
Today we curate live sessions and full evenings across the continent, working with musicians, cooks, designers and rooms that move at the pace we like: slow, warm, and worth the trip.
